About the Co-Founders

DENIZ CAGLAR & ZEYNEP UTKU

Prior to establishing GLOBART, Deniz worked for leading international art organizations; including The Saatchi Gallery, Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, Christie's New York, and Minsheng Museum of Art in 'Shanghai. Arts & Culture Editor of Haberturk Newspaper and contributed to a number of publications including FT Life & Arts, Cumhuriyet Daily News, Istanbul Art News and Art Review. Graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design with an Honours Degree in Culture, Art Criticism and Curation with specialization in Contemporary Art Market.

Prior to establishing GLOBART, Zeynep worked for leading international museums, auction houses and contemporary art galleries, including Istanbul Museum of Modem Art, Christie's London, Skarstedt and Fondation Villa d'Atris. Zeynep has curated various exhibitions including her latest exhibition 'Hide and Seek' at The Highline Loft in New York. Graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design with an Honours Degree in Culture, Art Criticism and Curation with specialization in Contemporary Art Market.
